1.) Does Apollo1 support shutdown mode? (It is SYS OFF Mode in Apollo2)
2.) Assuming that it supports shutdown mode, is it possible to wake up with an external interrupt?
3.) If we assume that Q1 and Q2 are "yes," what is the leakage current?
4.) About the above questions, what about Apollo2?
- SYS OFF Mode is not really a power mode of the MCU. It describes the effect on internal conditions when power is removed from the VDD pins of the Apollo2. The same internal state would exist in the Apollo1 as well (Flash is retained).
- To recover from this condition, power needs to be reapplied before any MCU functionality would return. So until that happens, an external interrupt will not "wake up" the MCU.
- Assuming in this case that "leakage current" is current caused by voltage applied by an external interrupt source while the MCU is not being powered, current for that condition has not been validated and would likely depend on multiple factors.
- Power must be applied in order for Apollo1 or Apollo2 to power-up, and it must then go through the full power-up sequence including reset. Again, Flash is retained under these conditions.
