1.) Is it correct that the modules applying the SPOT technology in the Apollo family is MCU and memory (Flash, SRAM, OTP)?
2.) Is the SPOT technology applied to Apollo3 the same as Apollo1 and Apollo2?
1.) For Apollo1 and Apollo2, SPOT was applied to the MCU core, as well as most peripherals including RTC, Ctimers, Stimer, IOM, IOS, Comparator, and LVD/POR. The ADC is a standard IP and is not SPOT, but interface logic to the ADC is SPOT. The main SRAM and Flash cells are standard cells, and are not running at lower voltage. Smaller memories such as the LRAM/FIFO of IOM and IOS are SPOT.
2.) The SPOT technology is applied to Apollo3 the same as Apollo1 and Apollo2. In addition, Apollo3 has a higher operating frequency which can be selectively enabled. This TurboSPOT mode is not quite as power efficient as the standard SPOT mode.
